Set season goals with your athlete
Create a goal with measurable key results, then track and review it through the season.
Turn a season ambition into one goal you can track all the way through — not just judge at the end.
Before you start
What you'll do
You'll create a single goal for one athlete, break it into measurable key results, and leave it ready to track for the rest of the season.
By the end you'll have:
- A goal with a title, description, and its attributes (state, season, priority, supervisors, category) set.
- One or more key results, each with a start, current, and target value plus a target date.
- An optional methodology check run against your team's standards.
- A goal in a clear state, ready to track and review at season's end.
Steps
Open Goals from the main menu. As a coach, pick a group and then the athlete you're setting the goal with. (As an athlete, your own goals open straight away.)
Select + at the top of the goals list. A New goal appears, ready to edit. There's no Save button — changes apply immediately and are logged under Activity.
Give the goal a title (for example, "Lift 150 kg on bench press") and a description of what success looks like and by when. Then set its attributes: State (start at Not started), Season, Priority (Low, Medium, or High), Supervisors (the coaches who follow it), and Category — a two-level label your team has configured.
Type into the inline Name the key result row at the bottom of the table to add a row, then fill in Start value, Current value, and Target value, and select Set date to choose a target date. Add as many key results as the goal needs — they're the only way to break a goal down.
Select the check icon at the top right to open Document check, a methodology check from Yollanda. It flags what's still missing (red) or recommended (amber), with green checks for what's done, and links to your team's methodology. What counts as required differs between teams.
Move the goal's State to reflect where it stands — typically On track once it's set up — so it's ready to follow through the season.
