Attendance

Track who was at training, and report participation over the season.

Track who showed up to training, and report participation over the season.

ForCoachesWhereWeb app
Attendance is an optional module, enabled per team — aimed at groups that don't self-log. Whether it appears at all is configured for your instance.

Attendance is a coach-side register of who actually showed up, totalled into present / missed / % numbers you can report. It's built for groups whose athletes don't keep their own diary — sport schools and youth squads — and it doubles as the source for participation reporting to schools and national agencies. The morning register, the state set, and the season percentages are the same everywhere.

Take attendance

Open Attendance in the Week view. The grid has an Entire Group summary row at the top and one row per athlete, with a column for each day Mon–Sun and totals on the right.

Each day column has an Edit link beneath its date. Select it to put that day into edit mode — every athlete's cell shows four state buttons:

Present
A green circle-check — the athlete was at training.
Free
A coffee cup — a rest day or day off. This is the default state.
Excused
A circle-minus — a notified, agreed absence.
Not excused
A circle-cross — an unexplained no-show.

Set the whole group at once with the buttons on the Entire Group row — pressing Present there marks everyone present for that day, then you adjust the exceptions. Select Close on the column header when you're done.

The right-hand columns keep a running Total present, Total missed, and attendance % for each athlete and for the group.

See the season picture

Switch from Week to Season for the long run: the columns become the months Jan–Dec with the same present / missed / % totals, and a year selector replaces the week navigator. Read this at period or season end to see each athlete's participation rate.

Fill Reality from attendance

For groups where one coach logs everything, Copy plan (top right) writes the planned week into Reality — but only for athletes marked present that day. The session shows up in their diaries without anyone self-logging.

Attendance-based copy writes a whole day into athletes' diaries. Don't use it for athletes who keep their own Reality — it would overwrite their entries.

Export participation

The export control (top right) downloads the register for handing to a school or agency — as a PDF, or as a monthly Excel (XLSX) file.

How it connects

  • Copy plan fills the Training Log for present athletes — the main flow out of Attendance.
  • The week being copied comes from the group's Plan.
  • Per-period and per-season % are the numbers you export for participation reporting.
